Today I went about 25km and with the hills it was one of the more difficult days on the Camino Inglés. There was a nice sunrise and beautiful and not-so-beautiful views. There was after Betanzos only one village with 2 bars shortly before the end of the walk… Both female owners took care so lovely for the customers that it felt for me more like being on a family-party than in a normal bar or cafe. I gave a tip of 2 Euro.. she said no, no… And came back with 2 one euro coins and took 1 in her hand and pressed one in my hand and smiled.
In the evening I had dinner with Daniel and Regis (who has the same backpack as I) from France, who met on their first camino in Spain in 2020 and did one camino together each year since then.
