einen Tag verspäteter Eintrag, da es in der Herberge wenig Netz gab, dafür jetzt, ganz liebe Grüße an alle über den Blog Mitpilgernden, wir haben euch lieb:

Our flights and buses are booked:
29062026 Johanna & Anna Berger bus from Munich to Hendaye in France at the Spanisch border
19072026 Martin flight Munich – Bilbao
01082026 Laura flight Munich – Madrid, train Madrid – Lugo
Today I stood up early. At the bus station I met G. from Germany again. We were then together in the cafe at the airport. At the airport was a big model of the cathedral. During the flight I liked the views from the window-seat. Then I went by train from Memmingen to Munich.

Today I walked in the centre of Santiago for some time. I had breakfast. At lunchtime the waiter asked con pan (with additional bread) and I answered no for the first time in several days as I am not as hungry as I used to be. And I said thanks to Ivar (image on Day 7) in Casa Ivar, who has a camino forum since 2004, for the great help from his forum – especially before my first camino in 2018. Then I was in the Pilgrim House Santiago where you can meet other pilgrims. I have checked in for the flight tomorrow and have to stand up early to catch the first bus at about 6 o’clock.

The sunrise was very beautiful in Finisterre in the morning. As I waited for the bus I thought: I will miss this life of a pilgrim with the deep emotions ( for example I am often much more hungry than at home and then the food tastes very good… And for many of the things I do not eat very much at home ( salt, fat, sugar…)… My body screams here: more, more!!!
Then I went from Finisterre to Santiago by bus. Because I haven’t eaten Italian I tried a Italian menu del dia (mixed salad, Spaghetti Bolognese, coffee, bread and beer) and it was very good. Afterwards to the single room with shared bathrooms in the seminario Menor… And even if I still go to the center of the town again, my app said already: 10000 steps.

Today I walked about 15km from Lires to Finisterre and in the evening another 5km on the way to and from the cape finisterre. At Finisterre I swam very short in the sea. I bought the bus ticket back to Santiago for tomorrow as today was my last walking day. The sunrise at cape finisterre was too cloudy to see it.
